Some of the equipment and methods discussed in this unit has been developed and primarily utilized up to this point in time to apply fumigants to soil. Other equipment used to apply nematicides is the same or similar to that used to apply other pesticides or fertilizers. Future utilization of nonchemical products for nematode management will be facilitated if the products are adaptable to existing equipment, or if existing equipment can be modified for this use.
