Growers will typically have granular applicators for applying fertilizers and insecticides and these can usually be calibrated for the application of nematicides. The "Gandy Box" applicator is typically used for applications of Temik and special adaptors have been developed for "Lock and Load" containers which fit on top of the applicator and create a closed-system device.
As with spray applications, if granules are applied to the soil surface, they should be incorporated as soon as possible with irrigation or mechanical devices.
