This is a partial listing of products that have been utilized as soil amendments in California which are thought to have some effect on nematodes or to stimulate plant growth in spite of the presence of nematodes.

One chitinolytic product (Clandosan 618) composed of crab and shrimp shells and urea has obtained a U.S. Valent Laboratories has obtained U.S. and California EPA registration for a toxin produced by a fungus in fermentation (DiTera) and will also be covered further in the discussion of chemical control.

A product composed of sesame chaff has also received U.S. EPA registration as a nematicide.
