Roundworms (Nematoda)

Roundworms (nematodes) are pseudocoelomate worms that thrive in nearly every habitat on earth. Most are small and free living but some are parasitic on plants and animals . Hookworms for example live in the human intestine and suck blood from the intestinal wall.

They are bilaterally symetrical, facultative anaerobes that possess a slender tapered body with a complete digestive tract in a pseudocoelom filled with fluid. A tough cuticle covers and protects the body.

REVIEW: Which have a tough cuticle, a false coelom, and a complete digestive system and are facultative anaerobes?
