MIDTERM
The Midterm will be held on Friday April 25 in room 1322 Storer Hall at 8:00-8:50 am or 6:10-7:00 pm.
You may take the midterm at either time, but only 1 time.
It will cover the lecture information through Wednesday April 23 (Lecture 11).
The midterm will be a multiple-choice scantron exam. You should bring a pencil and a blue UCD 2000 scantron form. You must also bring a picture ID. We will check your ID when you turn in your exam. The mid-term will have 50 questions, worth 4 points each. 70%, or 35 of the questions will come directly from the Review Questions within the lectures. The remaining questions will come from the lecture notes themselves, not from the textbook unless that information is also in the lecture notes. The two exams (8am and 6pm) will have different questions but be of similar difficulty.
I plan to grade the scantrons on Monday April 28 in the afternoon, and to post the grades as soon as I can. After the exams are graded, the questions, the answers, and your answers will be posted on the web under the last 4 digits of your student id. Contact me if you want your actual exam or scantron returned to you. You will also see your grade by clicking on the Gradebook2 tab of smartsite.ucdavis.edu.
NOTETAKERS NEEDED:The Student Disability Center asks that students interested in serving as paid notetakers for this course please contact the Student Disability Center at sdc@ucdavis.edu. Notetakers are paid a stipend of $25 per unit, but must have a social security number or have visa status to qualify for an SSN. Students should attach a sample of their notes to the email and put the following information in the subject line: ‘notetaker’, the course title, CRN number, and instructor’s name. Their information will be provided to the SDC student in need of notes, and the SDC student will contact the notetaker selected and make arrangements for receiving the notes.
EARLY FINAL ROOM UPDATE: For those of you taking the early final exam on Sunday June 8, we have been assigned room 1322 Storer Hall from 10:30am - 12:30pm. The room for the final exam on Thursday June 12 has not yet been assigned.
