Although we would like to accommodate everyone who wants to take the class, and have been able to do this in past years, there is an upper limit to the number of students we can accommodate because we have only been assigned 3 TAs for the class.
If you add the class late, you will need to take the Introductory Quiz by 5pm on Wednesday April 17. This quiz will cover information in the Syllabus on the mechanics of the course. You can take the quiz as many times as you want until April 17, so you can get a perfect score. It is worth 10 points towards your final grade.
You will need to be sure to do a practice Virtual Office posting by 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 17. This is worth 20 points towards your grade.
Your Practice Essay will be due on Wednesday April 17 at 5:00 pm. This is worth 20 points towards your grade
You will take the midterm on Friday April 26, the same day as the rest of the class.
Each section is set at the maximum size we are allowed to have per TA. Because of this, I cannot give PTA numbers or add people from the waiting list, if there is one. There is a separate waiting list for each section. Because of this, I suggest you check often to see if a spot opens up in another section than the one you are waitlisted for and switch to that section.
If you are registered for Bis/Nem 10V while waitlisting for another course, please drop Bis/Nem 10V as soon as you get into your other course to give your fellow students the chance to be added in Bis/Nem 10V.
