CLEAN CULTIVATION OF HOST WEEDS:

A large number of weeds have been reported as hosts of sugarbeet cyst nematode. However, the amount of reproduction that actually occurs on various weed hosts has not been examined in many cases.

Work is in progress at UC Davis to assess the importance of specific weeds in rotation programs for sugarbeet cyst nematode.
